Created in collaboration with Dr. Clint G. Rogers, PhD — author, TEDx speaker, and student of ancient wisdom traditions — The Joy Chakra Hike is a signature guided experience offered complimentarily to guests of The Joy and available as a paid experience for select invited outside guests.

This practitioner-led journey invites small, intimate groups up Joy Mountain through seven intentional trail stops inspired by the chakra system, moving from grounding and belonging toward clarity, connection, and inner alignment. Thoughtfully curated to feel personal, spacious, and elevated, the hike offers guests a rare opportunity to experience Sedona not just as scenery, but as a catalyst for transformation.

Rooted in Dr. Clint's philosophy that wisdom is not simply learned but lived, the hike blends Sedona's natural beauty with mindful movement, reflective inquiry, and gentle group connection. At each stop, guests are offered choice-based prompts that invite authentic self-reflection without pressure or overexposure. The experience culminates at the summit with panoramic red rock views, a quiet intention ritual, and the presence of a centuries-old vortex tree — a sacred natural landmark that anchors the final moment of reflection.

Reiki Drummingon Joy Mountain

A gentle yet powerful healing journey that blends the calming flow of Reiki energy with the rhythmic pulse of the drum. As the steady beat guides you into a meditative state, Reiki energy supports deep clearing, grounding and renewal. The drum's vibration releases stagnant energy and restores harmony to mind, body and spirit.

Participants often experience profound relaxation, emotional release and a renewed sense of clarity and connection.

Chakra Balancing Meditationon Joy Mountain

This guided meditation is designed to gently align and harmonize your body's seven main energy centers. Through breath, visualization, mantra and mindful awareness, you'll be guided from root to crown — releasing blockages and restoring natural energetic flow. As each chakra is activated and balanced, you may experience grounding, emotional clarity, heart openness and spiritual connection.

The journey will leave you feeling centered, peaceful and energetically renewed.

Tai Chi Yogaon Joy Mountain

Hike to an epic yoga location where we raise our peaceful warrior glasses in cheer! Yoga mats provided for the 75-minute all-levels practice where Yoga meets Qigong.

Yoga Hike & Meditationon Joy Mountain

A remarkable yoga practice location. After yoga, choose your meditation journey: Essential oil anointing woven with visualization and breathwork, or the practice of encoding a crystal with intentions you can revisit again whenever guided. Yoga mats provided for the 75-minute all-levels practice.

Elemental Embodimenton Joy Mountain

Align your energy through a mindful hike as we connect with the sacred elements and the land around us. Along the way, we'll pause to sense the elemental Qi present in nature. At our destination, we'll practice Bagua—an ancient Chinese internal martial art that embodies the five elements and promotes balanced energetic flow. We'll close with a guided crystal bowl sound meditation and smudging for energetic cleansing.
